Read-only · Works with Claude
Your uni,inside your AI.
UniAGI lets Claude read your own course site — slides, readings, briefs, rubrics, deadlines, marks and feedback — and cite the slide it came from. It only reads. Nothing is ever written back.

Ask it like this
Questions you'd ask a very organised friend.
Claude reads your copy, says when it was synced, names what's missing, and points at the slide or page it came from.

What it reads
You choose what it may read.
Five categories, each a tick on one consent screen. Untick any — the rest keeps working.
Courses & weeks
Your course list and what each course contains — sections, weeks, and the names of the files and activities in them.
Materials
The text of course material you can already open — lecture slides, tutorial sheets, briefs and readings.
Assessments
Instructions, due dates, submission status, group membership, and marking rubrics.
Marks & feedback
Your marks and your markers' feedback. Behind its own tick, always.
its own tick · never in our logs
Announcements
Staff announcements and notices in your courses.
Stay connected
So you don't have to sign in again for every question. Disconnect any time on your account page.
Quiz questions, other students' work, participant lists and grading views are never collected. Marks and feedback never appear in our logs.
How it works
Three hops. One direction.
Course site → your browser → your copy → your AI. Our servers never contact the university.
- 01
In your Chrome
The UniAGI extension reads what your signed-in session can already open — the same pages, the same read-only calls — and extracts text in the browser. Binaries, cookies and session keys never leave.
extension · your session - 02
Your encrypted copy
Text and metadata land in your own UniAGI account in Sydney, encrypted with a key that unlocks only for you. Nothing is pooled, nothing trains a model, nobody reads it.
relay · AWS Sydney · per-user key - 03
Your AI reads it
Claude connects through a standard MCP connector with six read-only tools. Ask in plain language; every answer carries the time of your last sync.
MCP · six tools · readOnlyHint
- ✕No cookie leaves
- ✕Servers never call the course site
- ✕No write tool
Honest by design
It tells you what it doesn't know.
A partial copy is never presented as “nothing due”. Every answer carries three things:
upcoming_deadlinesas_of Fri 3 Oct, 9:30 am5 of 5 coursescomplete
as_of
when your data was last synced
coverage
which courses and categories were read
gaps
what is listed but not readable, and where to open it
saysI don't have this — it's usually on the course outline page.
neverThis isn't in your university's system.
saysThat file is in the list, but I don't have its text yet.
neverThere's nothing in that week.
saysOnly three of your five courses synced — here are the missing two.
neverNothing is due.
saysYou didn't approve marks and feedback for this app.
neverNo feedback found.
Private by construction, not by promise.
Each line below is a property of the code, written down on the privacy page and checked in review.
- 01
01No credential leaves your browser.
The extension requests no cookies permission. The session key is used in-browser and never stored or sent.
- 02
02Our servers never contact the university.
All collection happens in your Chrome. The relay only receives text and metadata — never binaries.
- 03
03There is no write tool.
Six tools, all readOnlyHint: true. It cannot submit, post, enrol, message anyone or start a quiz.
- 04
04Encrypted per student. Delete means shred.
One AWS KMS key per account, Sydney region. “Delete my data” destroys the key and every copy.
- 05
05No training, no ads, no human reads it.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use, in writing on the privacy page. Marks and feedback never enter our logs.
Not another quiz solver.
UniAGI is
- a reader of your own material
- a planner across every course
- a way to understand briefs, rubrics and feedback
- cited to the slide, dated to the sync
UniAGI is not
- an answer machine — quiz content is never read
- connected to your university — it is independent and unendorsed
- a place where your data is pooled or trained on
- able to change anything on your course site
